Backups

Snapshot your world, restore it, and understand what restore replaces.

Creating a backup

The Backups tab lists your snapshots. Create backup packs the server’s world into a compressed archive stored off-server, so a backup survives anything that happens to the server itself. It runs in the background — large worlds take a little while; refresh the list to see it appear.

When to take one: before a version upgrade, before installing or removing big mods, and before risky in-game projects. Owners and operators can create backups.

Restoring

Restore replaces the current world with the snapshot — everything built since that backup is lost. That’s why it’s owner-only and sits behind a confirmation dialog.

Restores also run as a background job; the server comes back up on the restored world when it finishes.

Deleting backups

Owners can delete a snapshot from the same list (also behind a confirm). Deleting a backup never touches the live world — only the stored archive.
