Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Campfire websites and game server hosting services at campfire.host (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Ander Digital OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia (registry code 16227026), Sõpruse pst 179-39, 13415 Tallinn, Estonia (“Campfire”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@campfire.host. By creating an account or purchasing a server you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Campfire rents you managed game server capacity. Today we host Minecraft servers (Java and Bedrock editions, including community distributions such as Paper, Fabric and Forge); we may add other games over time. Each plan provides defined resources (RAM, CPU, storage and a recommended player count) as described on our pricing page. The Service includes a web control panel with a live console, file access, world management, scheduled restarts, backups, a player-facing join address, and the ability to share panel access with other users.
Campfire is an independent hosting provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang AB, Microsoft, or any game publisher. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account, including activity by people you have granted panel access to (see section 9).
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. To purchase a paid plan you must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
- We may suspend accounts that show signs of compromise, fraud, or abuse while we investigate.
3. Subscriptions, pricing and payment
- Servers are sold as auto-renewing monthly subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
- The price, billing interval and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Prices may change; changes to an existing subscription take effect at the next renewal and we will notify you in advance by email.
- You can upgrade or downgrade a server’s plan from the panel at any time. Plan changes are settled through Stripe, normally with a prorated charge or credit on your next invoice.
- If a renewal payment fails or a subscription becomes past due, we may suspend the server (it is stopped and becomes unreachable) until payment is settled. Servers that remain suspended for an extended period may be deleted together with their data after prior notice (see section 10).
- New orders may be refused when capacity is unavailable; you are not charged for orders we cannot fulfil.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing section of the panel (via the Stripe billing portal), or by deleting the server. Cancellation stops future renewals; the server stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless you delete it earlier. Deleting a server permanently removes its world data and backups. You can also delete your entire account from account settings, which cancels all active subscriptions and permanently removes your servers and data.
5. Refunds and the right of withdrawal
- 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with a newly purchased server, contact us within 7 days of your first payment for that server and we will refund it in full.
- EU/EEA consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA you have the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. Because your server is provisioned and usable immediately, you expressly request that we begin providing the Service during the withdrawal period; if you withdraw, we refund the amount paid less a proportionate charge for the period the Service was already provided. To withdraw, email us an unequivocal statement at support@campfire.host.
- Renewal payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where our 7-day guarantee or a service failure on our side applies. If you cancel after a renewal you keep the server until the end of the paid period.
- Chargebacks. Please contact us before disputing a charge — we resolve billing mistakes quickly. If a payment is disputed or charged back, we may suspend the affected services while the dispute is open and may terminate the account in cases of payment fraud or repeated unjustified disputes.
6. Fair use of resources
- Each plan’s RAM, CPU and storage limits are enforced technically. Attempting to bypass resource limits, escape the server’s isolated environment, or interfere with other customers’ servers or our infrastructure is a material breach of these Terms.
- Storage and backups are for content belonging to your game server (worlds, mods, plugins, configuration, logs). The Service may not be used for general file storage or distribution.
- Your server may only run the game software provisioned through the Service. You may not use it for unrelated workloads such as cryptocurrency mining, proxies or VPN endpoints, botnets, or public web hosting.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- break any applicable law, or encourage or assist others to do so;
- host, transmit or link to content that is defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, or that sexualizes minors in any form;
- infringe intellectual property rights, including distributing game clients, paid mods or plugins without a licence;
- distribute malware, launch or facilitate denial-of-service attacks, scan or penetrate networks, or gain (or attempt to gain) unauthorized access to any system or account;
- impersonate any person or entity, commit fraud, or run scams, phishing or deceptive schemes;
- send spam or other unsolicited bulk messages.
We may investigate suspected violations, remove or disable access to offending content, suspend or terminate services, and cooperate with law enforcement where we are legally required or reasonably believe it necessary.
8. Your content
You keep all rights to the worlds, files and other content you upload to or create on your server. You grant us the technical licence needed to operate the Service — to store, copy, back up, transmit and display that content in order to run your server and provide the features you use (for example backups and world switching). You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and licences for everything you upload, including mods, plugins and modpacks, and for complying with the licences and terms of the game itself (for Minecraft, the Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines published by Mojang/Microsoft). If we receive a substantiated notice that content on your server infringes someone’s rights, we may remove it or suspend the server and will notify you.
9. Server sharing
You can grant other Campfire users access to your server as an operator (power, console and file actions) or viewer (read-only). You remain responsible for your server and for the actions of everyone you grant access to. Revoke access you no longer want from the server’s settings.
10. Availability, backups and support
- We work hard to keep servers online but the Service is provided without a guaranteed uptime level. Maintenance, updates and factors outside our control (including upstream network and data center incidents) can cause interruptions.
- Backups are provided as a convenience and on a best-effort basis. We strongly recommend downloading your own copies of worlds you care about. Server data and associated backups are permanently deleted when you delete a server or your account, and may be deleted after a subscription has ended or remained unpaid, following prior notice.
- Support is provided in English by email at support@campfire.host and through the support form on our site. We do not tolerate abusive, threatening or harassing behaviour towards support staff and may restrict support or terminate service in serious or repeated cases.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your servers or account if you materially breach these Terms, if payment for the Service is not received, if we are required to do so by law, or if your use poses a security or legal risk to us, other customers or third parties. Where reasonable, we will warn you and give you a chance to fix the problem first. Upon termination, your data is deleted as described in section 10 and in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not limit any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We continuously improve the Service and may add, change or remove features. We may also update these Terms; if a change is material we will notify you by email or in the panel at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you continue using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply. If you do not agree with a change, cancel your subscription before it takes effect.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. If you are a consumer, you additionally keep the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes are resolved by Harju County Court in Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory law gives you the right to sue elsewhere.
EU consumers can also use out-of-court dispute resolution: the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon, via the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, ttja.ee) or the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
